01 / THE BRIEF
Start with the way
people live.
The owners wanted a home that made room for books, cooking and evenings with friends. Storage was essential, but it needed to disappear into the architecture.

02 / DESIGN APPROACH
Light gives the
plan its rhythm.
A continuous wall of oak joinery organises the apartment. Low furniture keeps sightlines open, and the dining table occupies the best light rather than the most formal position.
03 / MATERIAL & CRAFT
Oiled oak, wool upholstery and honed stone bring a tactile warmth. The palette is deliberately small, allowing the grain and texture of each material to be read clearly.

04 / THE OUTCOME
A useful, unforced interior supports different rhythms of the day. The rooms feel connected without asking every activity to share the same space.
“The rooms feel considered without feeling precious. There is a place for everything we do.” — Fictional demo client
