OUR POINT OF VIEW

The useful. The beautiful. The enduring.

We approach a building and its interior as one continuous design problem. The position of a window, the depth of a threshold and the grain of a cabinet belong to the same conversation.

Our demo practice brings together architecture, interior design and material research. A small team works closely with each brief, keeping decisions connected from the first study to the final detail.

The work shown here is fictional. It is a starting point for a real practice to make its own.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Quiet decisions. Lasting consequences.

Context before gesture

A building should understand its setting before it asks to be noticed. We study orientation, scale and the character of what is already there.

Light as a material

Daylight gives shape to a room. We work with its movement, intensity and absence, allowing shadow to contribute to the experience.

Less, resolved carefully

A restrained palette places more responsibility on proportion and detail. Each junction, threshold and surface should have a clear reason to exist.

Make room for change

Good spaces accommodate the lives that unfold within them. Durable materials and useful plans allow a building to grow older with dignity.
