01 / THE BRIEF
Start with the way
people live.
The brief called for a family home that could open to long summer evenings and close into a sheltered winter retreat. Privacy, shade and a direct relationship to the garden shaped the plan.

02 / DESIGN APPROACH
Light gives the
plan its rhythm.
A sequence of low volumes frames a planted courtyard. Deep openings soften the sun, while a single limestone floor connects the living rooms to the terrace. The plan separates shared life from quieter sleeping spaces without long corridors.
03 / MATERIAL & CRAFT
Pale limestone, limewashed walls and oak joinery bring texture without visual noise. Bronze hardware is kept to the points of touch. Each finish was chosen to gain character with use.

04 / THE OUTCOME
The house brings daily routines close to the landscape: a shaded breakfast terrace, generous shared rooms and private corners that remain connected to daylight.
“The rooms feel considered without feeling precious. There is a place for everything we do.” — Fictional demo client
